Discipline
Discipline is an essential part of the formation given at St. Paul’s Public School. The school expects students to grow in punctuality, cleanliness, obedience, respect, responsibility and good conduct.
School Timing
The regular school timing is from 08:00 a.m. to 01:35 p.m.. Students are expected to reach school on time and attend all sessions with seriousness and discipline.
- Assembly: 08:00 a.m. to 08:15 a.m.
- First Half: 08:15 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.
- Break: 10:55 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
- Second Half: 11:15 a.m. to 01:35 p.m.
Cooperation of Parents
Parents must cooperate with the Management and school authorities in maintaining discipline. A disciplined school atmosphere is possible only when parents and teachers work together for the formation of the child.
Regularity, Cleanliness and Uniform
Parents should send their children regularly, on time, neat and clean, and in proper school uniform. Punctuality and neatness help students develop good habits and a sense of responsibility.
Morning Assembly
The morning session begins with the school assembly. All children and staff are expected to attend the assembly. It is an important part of the school day and helps the school community begin the day with prayer, reflection and unity.
Respectful Conduct
Inattentiveness, indifference, disrespect or discourtesy will be dealt with seriously. Students are expected to be respectful towards teachers, staff, elders, guests and fellow students.
Misconduct
Habitual negligence, dishonesty or misconduct will invite severe disciplinary action. Every student is expected to uphold the good name of the school through proper behaviour.
Care for School Property
Students must handle school property carefully and help maintain cleanliness. Any damage to school property may invite disciplinary action and recovery of cost.
Main Gate and School Hours
The main gate remains locked during class hours except on fee dates. Urgent messages must be conveyed through the Principal by phone. Withdrawal of children during school time is not permitted.
Meeting Teachers
Parents may meet class teachers only by previous appointment through the Principal. This helps maintain order and avoids disturbance during class hours.
Inspection of Books
Parents should inspect the books of their children every day and sign remarks whenever required. Regular parental supervision helps children remain attentive and responsible in their studies.
Ragging Strictly Prohibited
Ragging is prohibited. Strict action will be taken as per the Ragging Act in Kerala against anyone involved in such behaviour.
